Landscaping Mc Donalds Stoddard Road

Project Brief:

This project aimed to satisfy 2 goals; one was to enhance the previous landscaping and the other was to add some new landscaping that would prevent vehicles driving onto the berm. This second objective was achieved by installing timber bollards which were angled to provide movement and back planted to give a natural feel.

What we did to meet the objectives:

  • Installed multiple timber bollards to prevent vehicles driving over grass and kerb
  • Ensured safe working environment (using cones, sign boards and barriers) for the general public and our staff while we worked
  • Added row of Ficus plants to create soft hedge to offset the bollards
  • Removed old mulch and stained white chip from besides drive thru with Gold rush stone mix to improve general aesthetic and also provide better stain resistance long term
  • High quality wood work: Multiple borders installed and Planter box constructed
  • New planting: Replaced Lomandra and Cabbage trees with new row of Ficus hedging and added extra Camellia and Flax to bare patch in other garden bed
  • Water-blasted work areas to leave tidy site at completion of project
