BODY CORPORATE GARDEN MAINTENANCE

Body Corporate Garden Maintenance in Auckland

Scheduled garden care for shared developments — tidy entranceways, well-kept common areas and one reliable point of contact for the committee.

Shared Gardens Need Consistent Care

In apartment and townhouse developments, the gardens belong to everyone and no one. When visits are irregular or a cheaper contractor leaves areas messy, the entrance is the first thing every resident and visitor notices — and the committee hears about it.

Pristine Gardens maintains shared gardens for body corporates and multi-unit properties across Auckland: scheduled visits, a consistent standard across the whole development, and a tidy site every time.

The committee or property manager gets one point of contact, a clear agreed scope, and a team that turns up when it says it will.

Consistent Presentation Across The Development

Shared entranceways, pathway edges and common gardens set the tone for the whole property. When they are kept consistently tidy, the development feels cared for, owners feel they are getting value from their levies, and the complaints stop landing in the committee's inbox.

We work to an agreed scope covering the areas that matter — entrances, paths, lawns, berms and common beds — and hold the same standard across the whole site, visit after visit.

Safe, Considerate Work On Shared Sites

A shared site is not like a private back garden — there are residents, visitors, vehicles and pedestrians moving through while we work. We use signage and safe work practices, keep paths and driveways clear, and work considerately around the people who live there.

Everything is tidied and blown down before we leave, so the site looks finished — not like the contractors have just left.

A Clear Scope And A Sensible Frequency

Most shared developments do not need show-garden standards — they need reliable, tidy, safe common areas at a cost owners consider fair. We agree the scope and visit frequency with the committee or manager up front, and price per visit so the annual budget is predictable.

If the gardens have already got away, we can start with a catch-up tidy to bring the site back to standard, then hold it there on a schedule.

Better Value Than Juggling Contractors

A professional gardening company is not necessarily more expensive than individual contractors — especially once reliability, safety practices and a consistent scope are counted. One team, one contact, one standard across the site tends to cost less in committee time and follow-up than the cheapest quote does.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Body Corporate Garden FAQs

How is body corporate garden maintenance priced?

Per visit, at an agreed frequency, after we have seen the site — so the committee has a predictable annual figure to budget against. The scope is agreed up front and the price reflects exactly what is covered.

How often do shared gardens need visits?

It depends on the planting and the standard the development wants. Many sites are kept in good order with monthly or six-weekly visits; some need more in the growing season. We recommend a frequency after a site visit and adjust it with the seasons.

Who do you deal with — the committee or the property manager?

Whichever works for the development. Most commonly we work with the body corporate's property or facilities manager day to day, with the committee involved in setting the scope. Either way there is one point of contact on both sides.

Can you take on a development where the gardens have got away?

Yes. We usually start with a catch-up tidy to bring the common areas back to a good standard, then move to scheduled maintenance to hold them there. We will be upfront about what the catch-up involves before any work starts.

Do you work safely around residents?

Yes. Shared sites have people and vehicles moving through constantly, so we use signage and safe work practices, keep access clear, and work considerately around residents. The site is tidied and blown down before we leave.

What areas of a development do you look after?

The shared outdoor areas: entranceways, common garden beds, lawns and berms, pathway edges and visible communal spaces. We are garden maintenance specialists — building maintenance and large tree work are outside our scope, though we can refer a trusted arborist when needed.
